Money
and Happiness.
Mwangi Amos
With
$100 you are probably able to take yourself for a day out, you can take your
favorite food and as well buy a pair of shocks.
Maybe, this makes you happy! On the other side, another person may have
a roof over them, they got something to cover their naked body and they don't
go hungry. To them, this may be defined as happiness. As it can be seen from
these two different scenarios, happiness and money got a deeper relationship.
Let us try and discuss further this comparison in a much deeper way in this article.
v The
Reality.
As
much as money is concerned and how beautiful it makes our life, there is a lot
that money can't do. Money will build you a magnificent house but there may
never be found any peace in that house! Money may give you every kind of fashion
that come up, but on the other hand, your body might be too big to bring out
the desired outfit. Hence no happiness in this case. You may have a lot of
money to give your family anything they need, be it a mansion home, high-class
vehicles, a great adventure, or an out to their country of choice. On the
contrary, you may have a nagging wife or a stubborn husband who is always drunk
and cheating with every kind of lady out there. In this case, will you be
happy? The answer is no, you will rather be depressed and hate life despite
having all the money with you.
v Further
Analysis
Money
is good, but it can't buy happiness as the say goes. Having people living
around you and even supporting you on what you do, and encouraging you to do
better is something money cannot do. Having obedient children and intelligent too
is virtue money won't give us. Human happiness is a cycle that depends not only
on money but on so many other parameters. It's therefore very important to
dictate what happiness is for you. If your happiness comes from helping others,
use the resource you may have to do so. Not necessarily by the use of money,
some of these people need your advice, guidance, or even your prayers.
Never
let money raise your pride and you treat people with arrogance, remain humble
despite how much money you make in life. Money will not pick you up if you
happen to fall, it's the people around you that will do so. Use the power of
money to create happiness for you and those within your vicinity.
In
conclusion, a source of income alone can't bring happiness, happiness is
defined from so many dimensions. A caring life partner will not be bought by
money, an outstanding character will not be brought about by money. Peace of
mind, healthy, and morals among others are virtues that money cannot give. We
need to understand that money is one of the parameters that define the cycle of
human happiness. This being said, make sure you use the money to bring
happiness, and let it create an environment where life is enjoyable and where
people can co-exist in harmony.
Perfect piece😊
